Kinross-shire Volunteer Group and Rural Outreach Scheme operate a befriending and driving service for the residents of Kinross-shire and Glenfarg.

Kinross Centre provides a welcoming, safe and homely atmosphere where our elderly members can feel that their rights and choices are being respected at all times. Transport is provided to and from the Centre in our 2 mini-buses. Both have easy access and passenger lifts. Lunch, which costs £6, is a three-course meal & coffee is served at 12noon.A full programme of activities takes place after lunch.

The Men's Shed is basically a larger version of the typical man’s shed in the garden – a place where you can feel at home and pursue practical interests with a high degree of autonomy.Members use tools and resources to work on projects of their own choosing, at their own pace and in a safe, friendly and inclusive environment. Our Shed is a place of skill-sharing and informal learning, of individual pursuits and community projects, of purpose, achievement and social interaction.

Perth Citizens Advice Bureau is here to offer free, impartial and confidential advice to Perth and Kinross. We deliver support and guidance on a range of topics, giving people the information they need to deal with any situation and improve their lives. The Lighthouse for Perth is a local non-profit service offering crisis support for anyone aged 12+ who is at risk of self-harm or suicide. We offer crisis support to anyone who is at risk with their mental health including those at risk of suicide or self-injury, or those who find themselves in emotional distress or crisis.The Lighthouse for Perth is a safe space for all.All of our staff and volunteers are committed to establashing a welcoming, non-judgemental approach.

Churches Action for the Homeless (CATH) is a local charity that supports, encourages and promotes the development and delivery of services to alleviate and prevent homelessness, and address the issue of poor housing. CATH seeks to work with others to improve the circumstances faced by people challenged by homelessness in all its forms in the Perth & Kinross Council area.

Broke Not Broken is a charity aimed at tackling the effects of poverty.We operate as a food bank in Kinross, offering additional support to our clients.
