Many people in the UK care for a spouse or partner, family member, relative, friend or neighbour.  They need to care may arise because the individual is impaired by sickness, old age or substance misuse, or they may have mental health problems or have physical or learning disabilities.

The Practice encourages those who are carers or being cared for to identify themselves to the practice and to the Princess Royal Trust Carers Centre.  The Princess Royal Trust provides support to carers and can guide carers through the maze of services, rules and entitlements.  They also run sessions in the Health Centre on a variety of topics and relaxation sessions are also offered.

Information is available from Reception and from the Princess Royal Trust for Carers website.
