Sleeping Tablets and Diazepam

St Serf’s Patients only

for patients registered with Doctors Balfour/Cunningham/Dalgety/Frew/Jones/Pattison/Reid/Smith

If you are requesting Nitrazepam (Mogadon, “Moggies”), Zopiclone (“zimmers”), Zolpidem or Diazepam (Valium,”vallies”, “Blues”), we need you to complete the form below.

These medications are prescribed for many different conditions and can be effective for sleep and anxiety. But they become ineffective within a few weeks and can cause dependence/addiction. When stopped they can cause withdrawal with rebound insomnia and increased anxiety. Long-term they are linked to brain fog and possible dementia.

People benefit hugely from stopping and reducing these medications as quickly as possible.
